Commercial Flat Roof Replacement Project on Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro, NY

On this Commercial roof project we are replacing a flat roof that has been patched many times over the years to a metal roof. We removed the existing modified roof, and repaired the wood decking. We then installed the IB Roof System’s separator sheet with a layer of half inch IB fan fold insulation over the wood deck and the metal roof. This was done to protect the transitions from low slope to steep slope. The IB Roof System’s mechanically attached 50 mil PVC membrane in grey was than installed. All seams were heat welded to create a monolithic roofing system. We used the Leister Robot welder for the long seams and hand welded the details.
